ECJS Passenger Vehicles, 1909 and Descriptive List 1912

Description

This book of East Coast Joint Stock Carriage Diagrams includes coaching stock built by the North Eastern Railway, Great Northern Railway and North British Railway for Anglo-Scottish services and in stock when this book was issued in January 1909. The publication also includes designs introduced after 1909 which were issued as a new sheet pasted into the original diagram book. The accompanying ‘descriptive’ list, issued in January 1912, is arranged by vehicle type and then by carriage number. These printed stock lists were issued at intervals at the request of the East Coast committee meeting.
