LNER (NE Area) Locomotive Shed Diagrams, Volume 1

Description

This first volume of Locomotive Shed Diagrams portrays the engine shed layouts for all locations approximating to the North Eastern Railway’s Southern and Central Divisions. It also includes ex-Hull & Barnsley Railway sheds taken over when that company was absorbed in March 1922. These diagrams detail the general engine shed layout including the provision of turntables, water columns, coal stacks, ash pits, staff accommodation and repair facilities.
