Description

The second volume of Locomotive Shed Diagrams portrays the engine shed layouts for all locations approximating to the NER’s Northern Division including certain ex-North British sheds taken over in 1924. These diagrams detail the general engine shed layout including the provision of turntables, water columns, coal stacks, ash pits, staff accommodation and repair facilities.
