Description
This book sets out the passenger and parcels train working at Darlington Bank Top station for the summer months of 1952. With only two long through platforms passing to either side of the centre island to handle all long distance East Coast, cross-country and the many dated summer Saturday services as well as parcels traffic, branch services mostly used bay platforms, with two at either end. Catterick Camp leave trains required Darlington crews and stock though only some of these impinged directly on station working. Non-stop passenger, parcels as well as fish and meat trains are still indicated in the book. ** NEW **
