Corona Virus Pandemic – Cancellation of Darlington Meeting and May Walk

Dear Members,

Further to the earlier message concerning the York meeting, the trustees regret that they have had to cancel both the Darlington meeting on 16 May, and the May Walk on 23 May.

In addition, please note that the Head of Steam Museum is closed until further notice, as is the NERA Archive at Darlington. Questions for our Archivist may be sent via the contact form on our website, and, to the extent possible, may be answered from home.

Our website shop is still open, and your trustees are working from home to keep the Association functioning as far as we can in these uncertain times.

Please monitor this website for developments. Above all, please follow the Government’s guidelines, stay healthy, and we look forward to welcoming you all to our meetings as soon as things return to normal.
